Phenomenal young drummer and vocalist Brian Carter is a brilliant representative of the new generation of American jazz. He has already gain popularity far beyond the United States. Immediately after the end of the famous New York The Juilliard School Brian Carter has become an busy.He played and recorded with stars such as Clark Terry, McCoy Tyner, Wynton and Branford Marsalisy, Mulgrew Miller, John Fjeddis, Kenny Barron, Cyrus Chestnut and Kurt Elling. Brian is actively developing a solo career as a musician. In 2011, he released an album of his own quintet. It was rated as a Top 15 several prestigious American radio charts.
Deep knowledge of jazz tradition and the ability to create new music, keeping in touch with the heritage of the golden age of American Jazz-distinctive features of creativity marked Carter’s music critics. Musician manages to organically combine the legacy of jazz giants Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk and Miles Davis with the academic classicists Giacomo Puccini and Igor Stravinsky. Also he did not forget about the melodic and rythmic roots of Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.
In 3 years, junior Brian first sat behind the drum kit, while 11 have already took lessons from the legendary drummers-Louis Bellson, Harold Jones and EdTigpen. During his studies at the Juilliard School jazzman distinguished himself as a brilliant composer, arranger and vocalist.
Brian Carter’s concerts successfully pass in the best American halls, inter alia, to Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Staples Center and the Chicago Symphony Center. Drummer and vocalist appeared at clubs, festivals and concert halls worldwide.
